Philadelphia Comfort Campaign

With the success of our annual remembrance walks over the years we wanted to do more for our community of bereaved mothers and families. The idea for our campaign started with a suggestion from one of our founding member's sister. Heather's sister came across a product called a Cuddle Cot. This piece of equipment is manufactured by a company in Europe called Flexmort. It is a cooling device which helps preserve a child that has been born still to allow for the mother, father, and family to have time to create some memory of their ever so precious baby.

In 2015 we made it our goal to get a Cuddle Cot to every maternity ward in Philadelphia and surrounding area hospitals. In October of 2016, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month, we had the honor of presenting our first Cuddle Cot donation to Holy Redeemer hospital. This cuddle cot will be placed in the Gift of Time Room which was built with the contributions of the Super Hero Project. We are happy to say we have plans with Kelly Gallagher of the Super Hero Project to donate more Cuddle Cots to future additions of Gift of Time rooms at other area hospitals.

We are working very hard to bring some comfort to families of loss, and hope to reach our goal of bringing a cuddle cot to all the hospitals in our area.

If you want to help bring a Cuddle Cot to a hospital in the Philadelphia area through our Comfort Campaign you can donate to us directly, or help by making contributions to our fundraising events such as our annual bingo night. Please feel free to contact us through email at anytime with any questions.
